This series will also tie into a Dragon Ball Cinematic Universe that Disney is reportedly trying to create. Other films that are arguably comparable are Ghost In The Shell with Scarlett Johansson and Netflix's Death Note. The films aren't just bad adaptations of the source material, but they are also usually just bad films in general.
